I understand there is to be a celebration lasting severan days. I can
forward a MSWord document containing the proposals to anyone that
might be interested.
The plans have a heavy "gunzel" focus - I feel there should be more
social content!
But nevertheless there are a couple of respected tram
enthusiasts/historians from interstate also having their 60th
birthdays in October 2003 and should be in Melbourne over the NSW
October long weekend to "celebrate".

Too bad they can not have a tram tour with SW6 881.Now that the govt
owns M tram,maybe the AETA head honchos could see the transport
minister and obtain the go ahead for a tour.
