Thanks for that information. Someone told me after I had posted the message
that they had seen a picture of a Combino with opening windows for the
driver. I guess it all comes back to money.

This was true of the first deliveries of the Amsterdam Combinos as well,----------
but because of operator complaints they now have a section of the front
side windows on both sides that opens. Since Siemens makes such a window
it should not be expensive to fix this.

The major problem is that there is not an opening window for the
driver. I
would prefer one, but it does not worry me that much but some driver's
do
not like to be fully air conditioned and prefer some fresh air. It would
probably be quite expensive to fix this issue.
