Actually, W6 992 was taken over the "triple track" section only
yesterday. Today, my student and I, with the aid of R10 and a huge
enterage, took 992 around over the whole line to test the overhead
and track at 10am, you are right about the asphalt being to the rail
head, standard practice now for bolt on check, the first tram
compresses it into place.

992 ran around flawlessly and service with the City Circle is
sheduled to start this Sunday.

Car 728 with new pedals for VC and sand re-entered service today and
a crew was sent to pick up 842 at the W/S's. Once the mod paper has
been ticked by the DOI, 856 will return to service, it is ready to
go. As soon as the last green car for YT is stage 2 modified, the
remainder of the CC fleet yet to be done (842,856,866,888,909,1000)
will be so treated.
