The parade was excellent. Pity there were so few people around.

The line up in Pall Mall was 11, 26, 5, 808, 7, 122, 28, 15, tower
wagon 15, 976, 275, 31, 302, works car 9, 35, 16 and 25. The cars ran
in by 1830.

I remember going to Bendigo on Easter Sunday 1964. For some reason 16
was running that day. It was rather "tired" then and rarely used so
quite something to see it running in the same condition 38 years
later!

A regrettable observation on my part was the foul language emating
from a group of "greybeard" enthusiasts taking photos at the depot
junction. A pretty poor show especially considering the wife of one
of the group was present.

I'm as broad minded as anyone but...

Late in the day car 16 - looking a little tatty - ran
out from the Depot to mine and back to the "Grand
Cavalcade" in Pall Mall.
