Hello,
I observed C3031 towing C3018 (with a bent panto and bogie issues)
from Kew Depot to Southbank last weekend (30/11).
It is worth noting that C3031 was used as there was a requirment for
the towbar to incorporate some electronic cabling for "multi-unit
operation". This move stalled (in dry weather) on uphill grades (20
mins in Vic Pde @ Smith St), after much scratching of heads, the MU
cable was unplugged and after many more attempts, the move then
continued. Obviously it has been decided that C's can be towed by
any other tram. Z3.133 may have been used as part of a transfer move
to Preston Depot for refurbishment.
Gareth.

Whilst having a few quiet jars at the Duke of Kent in Latrobe St.At 1915 hrs we spied Z3 133 showing "Ascot Vale" on the rear blind,
towing a panto-less 3018 showing "Citadis".
R10 was following the action closely.
Allegedly 133 is a regular in the standby row at Southbank.
