Why not try the Brisbane Tram Museum? I'm sure I saw a copy in their
sales area a few months back for $10 something.

Actually, didn't check that far. I'd assume it to be 1977.Perhaps the people in HOU have big overheads.
Or just big heads.
It's not so surprising for books to be higher overseas. 37.50 USD
paperback is a wee bit steep, but not unknown for books OoP. Maybeit costs

Things don't always go badly for us outlanders. I bought some of my
Sydney tramways books from Alibris (used but immaculate) for muchless than the
ARHS price, and without having to pay international postage. Had Iknown, I
could have got a clean copy of the Southeastern volume from them aswell,
instead of the water-damaged one purchased from a used bookshop inOz. Nothing
against the bookseller - the volume was out of print and I grabbedfor it. Nor
nothing against ARHS, they've been exemplary. Alibris having thebooks in stock
was just fortuitous.
