Coupled sets on Glenelg line

Was speaking to John Hoyle from Brisbane this afternoon (Wednesday)
as he was riding to Glenelg in a coupled set 376/375. He said the
loadings were exceptionally good and all services were being operated
by coupled sets. The "noise" of the cars sounded great over the phone!
Is it normal for coupled sets to be out all day on weekdays?
