* Z3.190 suffered stuck brakes this morning around
6.30, mechanics met it but decided to run it in for repair. The driver was
to be relieved at 7.09, instead the take driver ran out Z1.77 and cut in 9
minutes late. Z3.190 was seen several hours later in service.
* Z1.66 was seen towing Z1.5 to Preston Workshops,
Z1.5 was not powered. Seen at Elsternwick Junction around
11.10.
* B2.2005 and B2.2085 were both seen on transfer to
Glenhuntly from Malvern for servicing in the morning.
* At about 12.50, an unknown tram was sideswiped by
a car on Collins St near Exhibition St, the motorist did a `runner' after being
asked by the tram driver to stop.
