Milan 1692 in Melbourne--Re-Post

Hi, gang!
Greg Sutherland, the photographer of the picture used on the back cover of
Trolley Wire, has given me permission to post his picture, which I ascribed
to someone else in error (when I sent it to the MilanoTrams group). Anyway,
it's a great picture, which passes one of Melbourne's famous old hotels and
pubs on Flinders Street, and shows the right side of the "Ventotto". Note
that the rear door has been made a single door, similar to the first
modification given the fleet in the 1930s. April 28, 2002.
That's TramsDownUnder listmember Greg King piloting the 1692. He was in
seventh heaven this day!
Greg passed through San Francisco this past week, and sends a cheery "G'Day"
to you all...
