Bang Road Movement? I've seen the term twice recently. It seems far too
colourful a term for the prosaic operation I'm envisioning.

The through Electric service between Spencer St & Hawthorn began
4/12/1927, (good date!), but the crossover in Riversdale Rd just east
of Power St was not provided till 17/3/1931. So what they did with
cars running in/out for the 3 1/2 years is open to speculation.

There's my error. The earliest crossover east of Power Street that I'd been
able to extract from this correspondence was the one installed at the
reconstructed intersection April 22 1974.
