* Z3.169 was seen today sporting a shiny blue pantograph.

* Z3.155 had problems with a F/R switch at one of the ends in the late evening, at one stage the switch could not be moved at all.  Eventually the driver managed to get the switch to turn, and continued the run, however the tram was booked in to be looked at by mechanics.

* By today, Z1.40 had returned to Malvern depot.

* By today, a number of refurbished Z3's at GH had internal stickers placed throughout the tram.  The stickers included a destination listing placed on the glass behind the driver.

* From about 20.00, there were workmen on St Kilda Rd near Commercial Rd preparing rail for trackwork this weekend.  They took occupation of the inner lanes; traffic was diverted to the outer lanes.  More rail was seen near Anzac Ave.
