Thanks, Bruce. This is the point I'm trying to make. Keep it short and
succinct, mates. Keep your personal chit-chat private. (If you see you're
going into a private conversation while on a TramsDownUnder thread, change
the e-mail addy of the "to" line to the intended recipient. Copy and paste
it, if you have to.) Okay, guys?

Private messages sent to a public list have a way of boomeranging and biting
a person in the ass. On another list I belong to, the listowner
accidentally sent a post about someone to the list instead of privately.
She had to do many hours of damage control...
