Tram Charters

It appears that Z3 171 was the last M tram to be hired by a rail fan
group.I photographed it in Glenhuntly Rd on Sun 30-6-02.
The sooner the State Govt reclaims the tram network from the private
operators,maybe we will get to see heritage trams and charters
running again.
I believe Leeds City Transport banned tram charters in the mid 1950's.
