Hi, gang!

First of all, a correction is in order to "TAN: Citadis in other cities--2
of 4". Unlike Montpellier, which does have some lengthened cars, Lyon DOES
NOT have 8-axle Citadis, just 6-axle vehicles. Sorry...

Lyon opened its two-line tramway system on January 2, 2001. Its 39 6-axle
Citadis have a unique-to-Lyon end section, which is supposed to make the
tram represent a silkworm (Lyon has a prominent silk industry). Here is
0821 at Moncey Mairie du 3e. Note the "Tramway Bookstore" in the piazza

As far as I can see, Melbourne is the only city purchasing the Citadis which
is using it as a replacement vehicle.
