Very nice shot Graeme, any more from that era. I unfortunately did not
often venture south of the Great Divide during the heyday of the orange
Z classes. When I thought better of that, I found that the orange along
with the burmese gold was almost defunct.
That is why when I found that I could visit Melbourne on a weekly basis
during my curtain shop days (1989-1994) I went through a huge number of
rolls of film recording the last of the W classes in general service.
Many thousands of pictures later and many metres of video, they are but
a memory.

I did not think much of it originally, but after scanning I find it
is an excellent shot capturing the "ambience" of the early days of
the Z's.
