While I'm sure that a "FloatingTrams" group might be worthy, I ain't gonna
create one. Also, I bet there are Yahoogroups devoted to ferries...

That would be an excellent group in my opinion. I'll pass this to Peter's
personal e-mail so he can consider it when he gets back. I think "ferriesand
inlandsteamers" would work well as a group title. How about you guys on Muni
History and Pacific NorthwestTraction? What do you think?

The group should also include the infastructure and specialised
loading vehicles like the NZ Rail "Spud" tractors.
What about a "Ferries & Inland Steamers" group embracing three ofgeographic realms: San Francisco Bay, Pacific NW and Down Under? Chances areitwouldn't exactly be overwhelmed with traffic, at least not at first.
