General public doesn't stand a chance?

I own a small number of WMC (Western Mining Corporation) shares.
Their forthcoming annual general meeting is at the Carlton Crest
Hotel in Queens Road.
The information leaflet advising how people can get there by public
transport advises the following"
"Route 11 and 64 tram services run along St Kilda Road from Swanston
Street. Leave the tram at Lorne Street and walk along Lorne Street to
the venue".
Little wonder "optional" passengers would fine little incentive to
use public transport when such informed advice is offered!
