Hi,

Don't know about 972, I don't think that car is in the present fleet,
what did happen today was, poor 1012 went back to the shops with a
blown motor (someone had pulled the key three times in quick
succession) and 862 has returned to Southbank after new brake
equipment and major work done to window pans removing rusted out
pans. At the moment it's unique having the old white painted interior
driver's cab as all other W's are now green inside.
