B1.2001 will probably not run again, it needs a lot of work and replacement
parts. Most parts are unique to the B1's, and will therefore be costly to
replace.

Where did you hear that? Last I heard was that Yarra was waiting for
westinghouse to supply new air compressors for both 2001 and 2002 so that
they both have compatible braking systems. They have also both been
earmarked for refurbishment.
