Where did you hear that? Last I heard was that Yarra was waiting

for

westinghouse to supply new air compressors for both 2001 and 2002

so that

they both have compatible braking systems. They have also both

been

earmarked for refurbishment.

Not to mentioned most of the parts on the B1s are just A class

parts anyway.

Just to support Wilco, whilst 2001 is in storage and waiting for
westinghouse to pull their collective fingures out, it is to be
pointed out that both cars have different compressors made by
companies no longer in business, the aim is, as Wilco correctly
stated, to have common compressors in both cars and spares. He is
also correct in stating both cars are slated for refurbishment.
Whilst Yarra would like to replace all the A class with new
equipment, the B's are way down the list to be replaced and, with the
likelyhood of there soon being one company, some 114 Z3's have just
taken priority over the A's as well!!
