Trams:

* Z3.131 was running a Glenhuntly service during the morning peak, by 12.00
it had been returned to Malvern.

* Glenhuntly was short of drivers (a number of sickies, plus a number of
drivers off on long term illness or hospitalisation); Malvern supplied
drivers to help cover shifts.

* A number of C's were noticed performing driver training duties throughout
the course of the day.

* Combino 06 was again seen out and about today performing testing.

* At around 8.20, Z1.74 developed a F/R switch problem at Melbourne Uni,
shunting was delayed there for several minutes while a senior driver
assisted.

* By 8.28, northbound Rt 1 services were diverting via LaTrobe St, Z3.171
and Z3.128 were seen turning into Swanston St within several minutes of each
other. Rt 22 services were running as normal, so there was an obvious delay
between Arts Center and Clarendon St.

* By about 14.00 there was a serious car accident at the intersection of
Chapel & Inkerman Sts, Rt 78 services were delayed. Trams were instructed
to shunt at Dandenong Rd and layover there. The delay was clear by 14.35.

* A number of YT trams were sighted with a little blue stickers near their
doors reading "Coin Only Ticket Machine" (or to that effect). The stickers
resembled Metcards. B2.2075 and B2.2131 were both seen with these, as well
as several C's.

* B2.2064 (Koori tram) was seen running Rt 55 services, it's last known
posting was Brunswick.

Other:

* X-A on down paper train, through Caulfield at 14.53. (couldn't see
numbers)
