That is a very valuable
photo, Graeme - thank you. It is assumed in the fan community here that there
are very few photos of the Aotea Quay trolleybus route, and certainly I have
never seen any like that.
For those not familiar with
Wellington - the tracks in the foreground are not tram tracks but railway
sidings leading to the port area behind the camera. The round stadium in the
background of my overhead shot of a few days ago now occupies the site of the
Social Security office in Graeme's photo. I understand the trolleybus line was
put in largely to service that office.
