Ah, the explains why the pole is on the left hand wire... I was
wondering about what sort of "out o fteh picture" track arrangements
would encourage that and had figured out that the car had probably
started from a stretch of "side-by-side" by wire in Aitken St.
However, I thought it might have been at a short working crossover
rather than a single track terminal stub.

I never thought of the double track on the corner being part of a
terminus passing loop, though under the particular circumstances at
that terminus I can see that it makes good sense.

Where can I find a Wellington track map for future reference?
