This shot is a MUST to share.
Not only is the car 238 a preserved car at Queen
Elizabeth Park,
But the picture shows the base of the railway
station floodlight tower from which I took a lot of shots.
I had to climb these furshlugginer things every
Monday for a couple of years while working on the good old NZR.
On a recent trip "home", I noted the remains of
this tower at Hutt workshops.
Final note...............
I make no apologies for the large size of my
postings.
In my opinion they are more effective and you can
really get into them !!!
I would like to hear what you all
think.
