years usually Camberwell-Gardiner to crossover in
Malvern Rd. as area had not been rebuilt as it is now.
7B Camberwell-Glenferrie Rd. or City Glenferrie Rd.
7D Camberwell Junction/Depot City via Burke Rd or vv
subsequently 73
7E I saw once used as Camberwell-St. Kilda Rd./ during
a strike black banning St. Kilda Rd. All services
using St.Kilda Rd. shunted at and did not use St. K>
rd.
Also yesterday all trains were using Platform 3 at
Oakleigh around 5 pm. Therefore lst time use of
crossover from Platform 3 to up line.

Subject: Cable Tram Trailer

Today in Bladen st. Laverton on the back of a tilt
tray was the TMSV Cable Tram trailer from Hudson
Park Kilmore on its way to Portland Victoria to
operate on the Portland Cable tram service.Whether
this is on loan or permanent I don't know.
The Cable tram grip car was not sighted. Trucker
Graeme.

G'day to everyone

Some folks will remember me by my usual name - Barry
George.

One person I am particularly interested in getting
in contact with Jim Holland. I fthis is the same
person, and I strongly suspect it is, remember USS
Canberra - Coral Sea Week either 1967 or 68, and the
Model Dockyard in Melbourne.

For others who do not know me, I was a driver at
Glenhuntly 1968-1971 and in rosters (scheduling)
until retiring in 1997.

If anyone has any enquiries on this part of the
tramway system I will be happy to try and answer
same.
