Unfortunately there was no tram riding for me as I live in a city
where the city council is very anti-tram. We are just waiting for
the mayor to retire in 18 months time as he said he would do and then
hope that new blood will observe what is going on in the rest of the
world what with all the tramway and light rail systems that have been
introduced. The only glimmer of hope is that the busways that have
been and are still being constructed are, I understand, readily able
to be converted into light rail paths.
