Great stuff gentlemen. Nice to see Ron contributing to the list.
Would love to see some stories about the shoe shop and the rumours
that emanated from it. Some were true. Others not. It is all long ago
now so would be a good time to share some of the stories.
Is there a site for the anniversary list? Roderick B Smith used to
organise celebrations at a local pub whenver there was a significant
anniversary. Perhaps the anniversary of the opening or closure of a
crossover would be a good excuse for some TramsDownUnder readers to
get together at suitable licensed premises some time. Any takers?

(The last tram to use the Moreland spur was a charter by JB who

first tried to get a w4 on charter which actually got the w3 & w4
scrapped instead he used an L. I got permission to use this shunt in
