replaced by a bus service. The up track was removed in 1940,and the
rails were reused on construction of various war time extensions.Due
to petrol rationing the shuttle service re opened in late 1940 &
continued unti petrol rationing was lifted in early 1950.W5800 was
the last car to traverse the complete line in Jan
1976. ..
