ALL PLEASE READ--It's now easier to change your Yahoogroups mail delivery method!

Finally, I have some good news from Yahoo!
It is now possible for listmembers to change their mail subscription methods by using simple e-mails! This will avoid the somewhat cumbersome, sometimes exasperating method of changing mail delivery through the Yahoo web site--especially for listmembers who don't have a Yahoo! ID.
To switch from your current method to "Individual E-Mails": Send a blank e-mail (or one with "Normal" in the subject line) to:
< [email protected]>. Insert the name of your group to the left of the hyphen.
To switch from your current method to "Daily Digest": Send a blank e-mail (or one with "Digest" in the subject line) to:
< [email protected]>. Insert the name of your group to the left of the hyphen.
To switch from your current method to "No Mail": Send a blank e-mail (or one with "No Mail" in the subject line) to:
< [email protected]>. Insert the name of your group to the left of the hyphen.
Don't write anything in the message area!
This new method will make it easier for you to go "No Mail" when you go on vacation, for example. When you return from vacation, be sure to send an e-mail changing you back to your previous mail delivery method.
You will receive a message from Yahoo! Groups Notification like this:
Hello,
This is to inform you that your request to change your
subscription to [name of group] to the "Daily Digest"
mode has been completed.
Regards,
Yahoo! Groups Customer Care
Let me know if you have any problems.
If you subscribe to a lot of groups, however, it's better and quicker to change your mail methods via the web site all at once. To do this, go to http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups and click on "Edit My Groups".
I will update the group FAQ/Rules to include this procedure as soon as possible.
