(OK Paul, you asked for it...)
Likewise, I post here from time to time. I Have a vested interest in Melbourne
trams because Seattle (where I live) was one of the earliest -- if not THE
earliest -- American cities to operate W2s as a part of their regular transit
system, i.e., not a touristy or heritage type operation. In fact just last
week
I bought fifth edition of Destination City to keep up to date (as much as that
can be considered "current."
...
Also, as long as I'm posting at the moment, I'd been wanting to ask if one of
you ozzies would post a concise explanation of the events that took place when
MMTB was privatised, the reasons and results. Thanks so much, guys.
...
Another neat little project for our stateside members would be a short list of
Australian and NZ cities currently operating trams, lrvs, museums and/or
heritage lines. Thanks again.
...
That oughta keep you guys out of mischief for a while [lol] ;-)

So, Paul, you don't consider me a "genuine Yank"?.

Wonder if some of our American readers might make an occasional
posting on this list?
Would be good to see some observations of our little colonial
outputs "down under" from the Greatest Nation in the World.
And it would be nice one day to see a genuine Yank coming to see our
TramsDownUnder.
