Thank you Mal - yes, a great pic.

BTW - when I came across that William St stub terminus on my last Melbourne
visit (a too-long year ago!) it was obviously long unused, though set up
with signals etc. What was it originally used for? Was it for peak-period
short workings now discontinued? Presumably it was not just for the
ceremonial introduction of new trams!
