Hi guys,

Whilst it would be a nice thought to see these old Ballarat cars
running on the proposed service, firstly you are assuming that these
groups and individuals are prepared to give up their cherished cars
to run in traffic. Secondly, those old cars would deteriorate very
quickly in heavy operation of day to day service and, finally, having
been part of the W stage two conversion program, I can assure you,
those cars would stand up to scrutiny in this modern litigant
society, just look at all the groups suffering now with huge
insurance bills. I think the best you could hope for are W's drawn
from Newport and upgraded like our cars, though I have been wrong
before!!! Let's just see the tracks in the streets before we get to
carried away with what can run on them!

Cheers
Greg
