A word from Bob Risson

It seems appropriate, after a new tramcar having just
been named after Major General R J H Risson, to hear
from the man himself.

I attach a sound file recorded on Nov 26, 1969 on the
occasion of a dinner organised by the TMSV to
celebrate 50 years of the M&MTB.

The sound quality is pretty ordinary - sorry - but
quite audible.

The piece I am posting was Mr Risson's response to a
question about fare evasion.

I am transferring the whole speech to CD and intend
putting it in various public places as is is quite a
useful reflection on the thinking of the late 60's.
