* Z1.31 has derailed at or near Domain Rd Interchange sometime this morning,
it was re-railed and towed Bang Rd by a Glenhuntly tram to Bowen Crescent to
cross over. It then derailed again, by 8.21 it appeared to be clear. It
appears that shuttle services were operating between Melbourne Uni and
Domain Rd. Melbourne Bus Link bus drivers offered assistance by picking up
passengers at tram stops. By 8.25 all routes were clear, services were to
run as normal, with the exception of Rt 8 which were to terminate at Domain
Rd. Services running through the points at the turnoff for Rt 8 were given
strict instructions to proceed through at no more than walking pace.

* B2.2115 was working a down Rt 16 service, it diverted via Clarendon St to
get to St Kilda. This was possibly as a result of the derailment.

* Around the same time of the derailment (and possibly related to), there
were power problems in the area of Melbourne Uni - Southbank Blvd. Trams
were requested to drop the pantographs, and raise them one at a time and
move off.
