A fascinating photo Peter; was it taken on a fan trip? Must have
been
about 40 years ago judging from the appearance of the people.

Note that most of the people are looking away from the camera. I
have
found that photographs of enthusiasts are often as interesting as
the
transport itself. But most fans seem to be uncomfortable with their
photo being taken.

The young lad is obviously curios about the photographer.

There appears to be only one female in the photo (the person with
the
scarf) but she has her back to the camera.

Some of the body language is interesting especially the guy sitting
in the centre of the cab.

All great stuff Peter. The good thing about TramsDownUnder is that
we
can discuss non-engineering aspects of our hobby without being
accused of going "off topic"!
