And 14 before that was Caulfield - City in the days when the East
Brighton's were 65's and ran via Balaclava Road. Not that I am that old.

traditional route number 45. I have noticed that when trams are

short
workings?

Hi Paul,

It's not policy, unfortunately it's a combination of lack of
knowledge being passed on by the trainers, management not follwing up
to make sure they are done and the general apathy that pervades
society these days.

As for route numbers, I don't know if I told you guys this but, when
we acyually start carrying passengers on the green "W's" shortly,
they will run on the 12 route but, viw Latrobe to Nicholson and
Victoria, this will be route 14 and short working to Albert Park
Beach will be 13, to my knowledge this is the first time this
terminus has had a route number. This has been done to reduce the
chance of passengers thinking the cars will go via Collins st,
hopefully they will at least ask. Though we will be showing City via
Latrobe St, they expect any car on Clarendon st etc., to head down
Collins.

For you route number fiends, route 14 used to be East Preston
(laterly Latrobe Uni) to the City via Latrobe st. While 13 was West
Preston to the city via Latrobe. Thes hav'nt been used for about 10
years now.

Cheers
