Hi Guys,
As many of you will know, we have just released (in production as we
speak, about to start delivery this month) the beautifull Sydney R
class which has set the yard stick for all future tram models.
We are now working on the master patterns for the Melbourne W class,
SW5-W7 (ie 840-1040), like the R, these will be the finest models
ever produced with all the detail you could emagine (for example, the
patern maker just asked for details on the internal roof vents!),
nothing will be left out.
Now, the plan is that first models will be available in either 1950's
style colours and 1970's. Later we will look at doing the City Circle
and maybe some earlier schemes. Thes models will not be cheap but,
anyone who has purchased an SPTC model will know they are worth every
cent. At this stage we are looking at production starting at the end
of the year with deliveries starting early next year, this will
depend on the workload (which is always heavy) on the production team.
What I need from you guys is this, anyone who thinks they might be
interested, please e-mail me on: [email protected]. Please let
me know if you would like one or more models, which car number you
are interested in and what era/colour scheme you are interested in
(that includes the City Circle), so we can best meet your needs.
There is no obligation to purchase at this stage, this is not meant
to be an order, we only want to get an idea of how many are needed
and to make sure we are doing the right schemes first.
Thanks you for your time.
Greg
