Surely this is another "shoe shop" rumour. Perhaps we should be
careful to indicate that we are discussing a rumour and nothing more.
There have been some wonderful tramway rumours over the years many of
which were reported to emanate from the now defunct shoe shop in
Flinders Street. Perhaps it is a more off beat part of our hobby that
should be recorded.
