Hope the persons seeking copies of Destination City have been
successful. If not, I believe the Sydney Tramway Museum bookshop may
have copies. If you can't get to Loftus, see the new Museum website
on http://sydneytramwaymuseum.com.au . It's fairly basic at present,
not much enthusiast interest, and at this stage is directed towards
the public visitor. Content will be added in due course.

Why I mention this is that the website has a "contact the
Secretary" e-mail address. Suggest if anyone is still in need, send
a message to the Secretary who will check availability, and can
arrange a mail-order. If required, payment by credit card can be
arranged.

The Melbourne book or books I would like to see someone write are
the histories of the private and local council owned companies, pre-
M&MTB. Does anyone know if a book or books about these tramways
exists?

My other wish is to obtain a copy of Destination Valley
(Brisbane). Anyone know of a source?

Don Campbell.

Hi Don,

Railfan Shop in Melbourne has current issues of Destination City and
Destination Paradise. Destination Vally has been out of print for
many years (I have one and won't part with it for anything) but they
(Brissy guys) have talked for as many years of redoing same, don't
hold your breath!!
