Movements

Whilst running in my W on the CC tonight, another W approached
Lonsdale St and I realised it was 890, the old training car, all lit
up. Firstly, I asked if 2001 had fallen over when they took the tow
bar off!!! On further annoying, they informed me it is going to
Camberwell for the brake upgrade!!! The big thing is, this car is in
poor shape and totally unmodified as far as brakes are concerned so,
just what are the plans for this (and I believe 897 is to get the
same and it too is in poor shape and unmodified) tram, it would seem
unlikely to be a real training car anymore unless it get the whole
treatment, interesting to see what develops.

Other news, we received 983 today, the R10 crew and the shops crew
play with it first to learn differences, then I get it next week. I
have been given a preliminary traning manual to make comment on so
intersting things to come.
