During August, our teams inspected structures across the network, resulting in defects being identified and triggering maintenance interventions.
17.57 Lilydale/Belgrave/Alamein/Glen Waverley lines: Delays through Southern Cross (a train fault). Trains may run direct to Richmond; stopping patterns may be changed; trains may terminate/originate at intermediate stations.

18.34 Sandringham line: Buses to replace trains South Yarra - Elsternwick due to a serious incident requiring emergency services. Buses ordered, ETA 60 min. Consider alternative transport for local trips.

- 19.46 Buses operating, adding 45 min.

Werribee/Williamstown/Sunbury/Craigieburn lines: Trains operate as shuttle between Southern Cross and the suburbs from 21.00 until that last train (works). From Flinders St, take a train from pfm 9 to SC. [that would be a Werribee, which isn't running].

Trains will operate as a shuttle service between Caulfield and Frankston from 21.00 until the last train (works). From the city, take a Pakenham/Cranbourne train to Caulfield.
- passengers for Hawksburn, Toorak, Armadale or Malvern, change at South Yarra or Caulfield for replacement bus service.
