17.56 Pakenham/Cranbourne lines: Major delays (police in the Malvern area). Trains may remain stationary for extended periods at or between stations, or may terminate/originate at intermediate stations, or may be altered.

- 17.59 Move the trains already. What's the point of keeping them stationary? I can barely get cell reception here at Richmond.
- 18.00 Trains should be about to move. We had to stop trains for police.
- 18.15 The train is stationary at South Yarra. I need to get home. How do I get to Pakenham?
- 18.16 Major delays (an overhead-power fault in the Malvern area). Use a Frankston train for to Caulfield, and change there.
- 19.31 There’s no trains running to Cranbourne. 100 minutes to go from Flinders to Dandenong. Then out of no where told that we have to get on a bus. With no one directing the crowd to the buses at Dandenong. Everyone running around guessing. No option to make alternative plans ahead

- 20.17 They just announced on the Carrum line that there are delays upto 40 minutes. What has cleared?
- 20.31 Congestion after the power fault I’m guessing. All trains at Malvern had to stop for them to fix the issue.
