Until the early years of the Brisbane Tramway Trust the tram continued a short distance beyond the terminus shown in the photo. It was truncated to allow the QR to construct a siding to service the wool store.

Note that 505 also had resilient wheels - indicated by the chrome bumper and the small R under the fleet number.
