Unfortunately, the images came up as "application/octet-stream" instead of
true JPEG. Although it is possible to view these using Internet Explorer,
they are unopenable by users of Netscape without a lot of fancy work. I am
reposting them as true JPEGs, which Netscape can open. This affects
listmembers who are on "Daily Digest" or "No Mail", as those who receive
"Individual E-mails" should have the attachments with the message.

Sometimes this happens because the originator may "think" it's a JPEG, but it
gets mis-translated by Yahoogroups during the processing of the message. On
the originator end, one can set the image to be openable by all computers. I
have a Mac and this is what I do to offer my attachments to Windows users--and
make sure they get processed correctly by Yahoogroups.

If the image on your end is a TIFF, BMP or some other format, it won't get
translated as a JPEG. So, to all posters of images with messages: Please be
careful. Thanks.
