The tramway at Toolan vale was privately owned by a couple of people who
were Trams drivers at South Melbourne back in 1980's early 90's this was a
private operation and never opened to the public, it had a 2ft gauge line,
and ran a couple of home made trams as well as a toast rack and burine car.
If Roy Winslow from Perth reads this I think he may photo or three from his
visit with me about 12years ago

Subject: [TramsDownUnder] Model tramway in Toolern

Could some one please put me on the right track concerning a model
tramway in Melbourne's outer west?
I'm not sure if it is this group, or another that was discussing it a
while back, but the thread seemed to stop without a final answer.
From memory someone had a system layout on their property, with
drivable trams, a bit like the ones they had a Wobbies World.
Speaking of Wobbies, whatever happened to the old Springvale Rd fleet?
