When did route 15 Moreland - St. Kilda Beach stop operating, i believe it was around late 1996. Could anyone supply a more accurate date?

I could be wrong, but I thought it was earlier. I worked in South Melbourne (not depot, but across the road, you could watch trams running in and out from the general manager's office) until October 97 and caught the Route 1. I'm pretty sure the Route 1s were regularly held up by 22s reversing at Nolan Street for longer than 9 months!
