I reckon I was the only trammie at Essendon with his own Tramways bus.

I brought it up a few times when it was raining. I usually walked or rode my bicycle.

I used to turn into the yard at the upper gate and back straight in along the fence clear of the tracks. 350 looked quite at home amongst all the Ws.

I did point out to the afore mentioned depot starter that the Board was required to provide parking for its employees.

In the end I sued the dickheads and got back pay and got sent back to Footscray.

The poor drivers' seats in the MAN eventually saw me off the road and into the training department to write a bus driver's training manual and then over to Brunswick Depot for awhile as a driver.

There was much more room to park 350 over there along the rail right of way just outside the depot.

---I recall an incident involving this person and that vehicle at
Essendon some years ago.

The depot starter had occasion to discuss parking in the depot yard
(Up the back) as things had become congested as there was a large
green and cream "car" taking up an awfull lot of room.
Looking back on the incident, it was rather like a snail bringing its
shell with him to work.
