Driver Murphy unable to report for duty this evening in AEC Regal Mk
3 bus #350.
Passengers waiting for special bus to travel from RMIT (following Sir
Robert Risson memorial lecture) to University Cafe at Carlton were
left stranded for about 30 minutes.
Fortunatately spare crews available and a coupled set of Ps was run
out to convey all passengers offering.
Driver P Bruce in charge of cars. Conductor Nicholson 817 on front
car and conductor Davey 3232 on rear car. Standby driver Weedon 2591
not required and booked off.
All passengers conveyed to Cafe and cars run in without any further
incident.
