Great Brisbane stuff Don!

One comment - there was only ever one tramway company - Brisbane Tramways Limited. The Tramways Trust was set up at the expiration of the company's agreed term as a stop gap measure until such time as the ownership and operation of the enterprise could be sorted out. This happened in 1925 at the same time as the 'municipalisation' of a large number of local governments into the Brisbane City Council. The BCC was made responsible for road public transport in its city area, including the tramways. (the largest urban municipal area in Australia - the BCC's budget is far greater than that of the entire State of Tasmania). The BCC is still responsible for the bulk of public bus services within the greater Brisbane area.

I have completed my Brisbane photos and am starting on Launceston.  I still
need to know the operating name of the tram lines in Sydney.  I have
conflicting information.  Then I can do them plus Melbourne and Hobart.
