Re: Route Numbering

This may be sacreligious, but to make the tram system more easily
comprehensible to potential travellers without intimate knowledge of it
already, perhaps the tram route numbering and the road route numbering
should be synchronised. All major metro routes in Melbourne have a road
number now, eg Riversdale Road is route 20 - so why isn't the Riversdale
Road tram no 20. I know its not always that simple with some routes
running along two or more roads, but with a bit of lateral thinking it
could benefit the tram network.
